The Doverph guide
How to own the light
in any room.
The four levels
From the softest daylight to total dark.
01
Name the problem
Too much glare? Restless sleep? A cold, draughty room? Street noise? The fault you want to fix points straight to a light level.

02
Pick a light level
Sheer softens, light-filtering warms, blackout kills the light, thermal does that plus insulates. Most rooms want one primary level.

03
Layer if you can
A sheer on an inner rod plus a blackout on an outer rod gives you the full range — airy by day, pitch dark by night.

04
Measure twice
Wider and longer than the window reads more luxe and leaks less light. Floor-length drops feel considered; sill-length suits kitchens and baths.
